I stepped outside, locked myself in the car and said "Goodbye Shane, Goodbye Sid". Whispered it, Said it, Yelled it, Shouted it. I couldn't bring myself to saying it to them like this. Just a whimpered "bye" was all I could bring out of me. The last images of them, Sid going back to his room with a smile and Shane walking back to the house as reflected on my rear view mirror.
